Best Sales Intelligence Software in 2026

Sales intelligence software finds and enriches the B2B contact and company data a sales team prospects from: verified emails and phone numbers, job titles, org charts, technographic and intent signals, and, for a subset of this list, which anonymous companies are already visiting a website. This ranking is aimed at go-to-market teams choosing where their prospecting data comes from, not at enterprises that have already standardized on one platform group-wide. We judged how the underlying data is sourced and kept current, what a real seat actually costs once credits, minutes and add-on modules are priced in, whether a product is a searchable outbound database, a website-visitor-identification tool, or a database bundled with its own outreach sequencing, and which company and jurisdiction ultimately holds the contact records.

What it is: Sales intelligence software builds and maintains a searchable database of business contacts and the companies they work for, then lets a sales or marketing team filter it by job title, industry, company size, technology stack or buying-intent signal to build a prospecting list. Most products in this category verify emails and direct-dial phone numbers, layer on firmographic and technographic data, and sync the result into a CRM. A second, related product shape, website-visitor identification, instead works backward from a company's own web traffic, matching anonymous visitors to a company record so a sales team can follow up on inbound interest; a handful of vendors on this list combine a contact database with built-in email or LinkedIn outreach sequencing rather than selling data alone.

Visibility in this ranking can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review. The largest vendors in sales intelligence software cannot hold places 1 to 3. How it works: placement disclosure · editorial process.

The top three

  1. #1

    Lusha

Teams wanting a published, self-serve database with named certifications

A contact and company database claiming 290 million-plus verified contacts and 29 million-plus companies, operated through a dual US/Israel controller structure with ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certification stated on its own trust center.

  2. #2

    Kaspr

Teams prospecting directly from LinkedIn who want a lightweight extension

A Paris-built LinkedIn Chrome extension and contact database claiming 500 million-plus verified phone numbers and emails covering 200 million-plus profiles, operated as part of the Cognism Group since 2022.

  3. #3

    Leadfeeder

Teams wanting to identify anonymous website visitors, starting free

A website-visitor-identification platform, legally Dealfront Group GmbH, formed in 2022 from the merger of Germany's Echobot and Finland's Leadfeeder and backed by €180 million from US private equity firm Great Hill Partners, with a free-forever Lite plan.

How we ranked these

How the data is sourced, and how fresh it actually is

Every vendor on this list claims a verified, up-to-date database, but the scale and shape of what's behind that claim differs sharply. ZoomInfo and Lusha both publish database-size figures, ZoomInfo as the largest general-purpose B2B database in this category and Lusha at 290 million-plus verified contacts and 29 million-plus companies, while Kaspr's 500 million-plus phone numbers and emails come specifically from LinkedIn profile matching rather than a broader crawl. Apollo.io and Overloop both fold a self-reported contact count into a combined product that also handles outreach, which makes the database one component of a larger subscription rather than the whole product. The three website-visitor-identification tools on this list, Leadfeeder, Leadinfo and SalesViewer, source differently again: they don't sell access to a static database at all, they match a customer's own inbound web traffic against a database of company IP ranges and firmographic records, so the "freshness" question there is really about how many companies get identified per month at a given plan tier rather than how large the underlying contact file is.

The real price: seats, credits and quote-only floors

Two vendors here, ZoomInfo and Cognism, publish no pricing at all and go straight to a sales call, which is common at the top of this category but means a buyer cannot size a deal without one. The vendors with published pricing show the range this category actually spans: Leadfeeder starts free forever on its Lite plan before rising to €599 a month on Scale; Leadinfo runs from €69 to €359 a month annually, with the higher published figure roughly doubling if a buyer's identified-company volume is high enough to hit the next usage band; Overloop is a flat $69 or $99 per user a month with a hard monthly credit cap attached to each tier; SalesViewer, priced in euros excluding VAT, runs from €99 to €629 a month by number of monthly company detections and websites tracked; and Vainu is priced as an annual contract from €3,500 a year plus a separate onboarding fee, a structure closer to enterprise software than to a self-serve SaaS plan. The pattern worth noting is that a credit or detection cap, not the headline monthly number, is usually what forces an upgrade.

Three different products wearing one category label

"Sales intelligence software" on this list actually covers three distinct product shapes, and confusing them is the most common buying mistake. ZoomInfo, Lusha, Cognism, Kaspr and Vainu are searchable outbound databases: a buyer builds a list by filtering on title, industry or signal, then exports or syncs it. Leadfeeder, Leadinfo and SalesViewer instead do website-visitor identification: they identify which companies are already browsing a customer's own site, an inbound signal rather than an outbound list, and SalesViewer in particular does only this, with no searchable contact database behind it at all. Apollo.io and Overloop sit in a third category, a contact database bundled with built-in email or LinkedIn sequencing, so the subscription covers finding the contact and reaching out to them in one product rather than two. A buyer comparing prices across this list without first sorting vendors into one of these three shapes is comparing products that solve different problems.

Who owns the data, and under what jurisdiction

This category splits unusually cleanly by jurisdiction. ZoomInfo, Apollo.io and Clearbit, the last now operating as Clearbit by HubSpot, are US-incorporated companies whose contact records sit within reach of US legal process regardless of where a customer is based. Cognism is UK-incorporated, headquartered at The Shard in London, with additional offices across the US, Germany, France, North Macedonia and Croatia. A cluster of genuinely EU-headquartered alternatives sits below that: Leadfeeder's legal entity, Dealfront Group GmbH, is registered in Karlsruhe, Germany, though the company was formed by a 2022 merger and has taken €180 million in backing from Great Hill Partners, a US private equity firm, which is a real ownership nuance behind the German entity; Leadinfo is Dutch, based near Rotterdam and operated as part of the teamblue group; Vainu is Finnish, headquartered in Helsinki; and Overloop and SalesViewer are Belgian and German respectively. Lusha and Kaspr are the two cases that don't sort cleanly into either bucket: Lusha operates through two registered entities, a Delaware corporation as its primary data controller and an Israeli entity as a joint controller, while Kaspr, built and operated out of Paris, joined the Cognism Group in 2022 and is now sold as "Kaspr (Cognism Group)", which means its ultimate parent is the same UK-incorporated Cognism Ltd. sitting three places above it in this ranking.

Certifications a compliance team will actually ask for

Coverage of formal compliance certification is uneven across this list, and only some of it is independently auditable rather than self-declared. Lusha states ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certification alongside GDPR and CCPA compliance on its own trust center. Leadinfo states ISO 27001 certification and GDPR compliance. SalesViewer states GDPR and CCPA certification dated to 2018 and 2019 on its own company history page. The rest of this list, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, Cognism, Clearbit, Kaspr, Leadfeeder, Vainu and Overloop, make GDPR-alignment claims of varying specificity without a named third-party certification standard attached in the material reviewed for this ranking, which is not the same claim and is worth confirming directly with the vendor before a regulated buyer signs.

The 11 tools, reviewed

#1 Lusha

290M+ verified contacts, dual US/Israel controller structure · United States · lusha.com

290M+ verified contacts (vendor claim) ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II stated Dual US/Israel controller structure

Lusha states 290 million-plus verified contacts and 29 million-plus companies on its own site, and backs that with named third-party certifications, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II, alongside GDPR and CCPA compliance claims on its trust center, which is more independently checkable compliance detail than most of the quote-only vendors above it in this ranking offer.

Where it falls short

Lusha's own privacy policy names two separate registered entities: Lusha Systems Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Boston, as primary controller, and Lusha Systems Ltd., an Israeli company, as a joint controller. That dual-controller structure is unusual on this list and worth reading directly rather than assuming Lusha sits cleanly in either a US-only or EU bucket.

Wrong for

A buyer whose jurisdiction requirement needs a single, unambiguous controlling entity, since Lusha's own policy describes joint control split across two countries rather than one.

#2 Kaspr

Paris-built LinkedIn prospecting extension, owned by Cognism · France · kaspr.io

LinkedIn-first Chrome extension 500M+ phone numbers and emails (vendor claim) Part of the Cognism Group since 2022

Kaspr's product is built and run out of Paris, and its Chrome extension is the fastest way on this list to pull a verified phone number or email directly off a LinkedIn profile. What a buyer needs to know explicitly, and what Kaspr states on its own about page, is that Kaspr is part of the Cognism Group, having joined in 2022, so the French product sits inside a UK-incorporated parent rather than operating as a fully independent French company.

Where it falls short

Kaspr is not independent of Cognism, the UK-headquartered vendor ranked third in this list; a buyer treating the two as separate, competing options for jurisdiction-diversification purposes is working from an inaccurate premise, since a purchase from either ultimately reaches the same corporate group.

Wrong for

A buyer specifically seeking a French-owned, independently operated alternative to a UK or US vendor, since Kaspr's ownership sits with the UK-incorporated Cognism Group even though its product and team are French.

#3 Leadfeeder

German-registered visitor identification, free-forever Lite plan · Germany · leadfeeder.com

Free-forever Lite plan German legal entity, US PE-backed Formed from 2022 Echobot/Leadfeeder merger

Leadfeeder is legally Dealfront Group GmbH, headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, with a Helsinki office, formed by the 2022 merger of Germany's Echobot and Finland's own original Leadfeeder; the brand rebranded from "Dealfront" back to "Leadfeeder" as its primary name in 2025. Its Lite plan is free forever with unlimited users and up to 100 identified companies a month, which is the only permanent free tier among the visitor-identification tools on this list.

Where it falls short

The German legal entity has taken €180 million in backing from Great Hill Partners, a US private equity firm, which means a buyer choosing Leadfeeder specifically to avoid US-connected capital should know that ownership sits behind the German registration rather than assume "German GmbH" means no US financial involvement at all.

Wrong for

A team that needs an outbound searchable contact database rather than inbound visitor identification, since Leadfeeder only ever surfaces companies already browsing a customer's own website.

Pricing: Lite is free forever (unlimited users, up to 100 identified companies a month, 7-day visitor history); Discover starts from €79/month billed annually; Activate from €369/month; Scale from €599/month; Enterprise is custom-quoted. A 14-day free trial is available on paid tiers. (free plan)

#4 Leadinfo

Dutch visitor identification linked to a 300M+ contact database · Netherlands · leadinfo.com

300M+ decision-maker database (vendor claim) ISO 27001 certified (vendor stated) Part of the teamblue SaaS group

Leadinfo is headquartered near Rotterdam in the Netherlands and operates as part of the teamblue group, and it pairs visitor identification with a 300 million-plus decision-maker database it states is linked to the companies it identifies, which is a broader data layer than some other visitor-ID-only tools on this list offer. The vendor states ISO 27001 certification, a named, checkable standard rather than only a general compliance claim.

Where it falls short

Leadinfo's published price roughly doubles or more at higher identified-company volume, from €159 up to €539 a month on Scale and from €359 up to €889 on Pro, so the headline entry price understates what a busier site will actually pay.

Wrong for

A team with very high website traffic and a correspondingly high volume of companies to identify each month, since Leadinfo's usage-based pricing climbs substantially once volume moves past the lowest published band.

Pricing: Starter €69/month billed annually (€99 billed monthly) for up to 100 identified companies; Scale €159/month annually (up to €539 at higher volume); Pro €359/month annually (up to €889 at higher volume). A 14-day free trial is available, no credit card required. (free trial)

#5 Vainu

Nordic-focused data platform, annual-contract pricing · Finland · vainu.com

Nordic-region specialist Annual contract, not monthly self-serve Founded 2013, Helsinki-headquartered

Vainu, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Helsinki with an additional Stockholm office, is built specifically around the Nordic region, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, rather than global coverage, which makes it a genuine specialist choice for a team whose prospecting is concentrated there. Its pricing structure, an annual contract starting at €3,500 a year plus a separate onboarding fee, is closer to enterprise procurement than to a self-serve monthly plan.

Where it falls short

Coverage outside the Nordic region is not the product's focus, and the sales process requires a 12-month auto-renewing contract with 60 days' notice to cancel, a real commitment compared with the month-to-month options several other vendors on this list publish.

Wrong for

A team prospecting primarily outside Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, or one that wants a short-term or month-to-month commitment rather than a 12-month contract.

Pricing: Vainu for Prospecting from €3,500/year plus a €200 one-time onboarding fee; Vainu for CRM from €4,200/year plus a €750 onboarding fee; Vainu for Data is custom-priced for large volumes. Contracts run 12 months, auto-renewing, with a 60-day cancellation notice. (none stated)

#6 Overloop

Belgian data-plus-outreach platform, rebranded from Prospect.io · Belgium · overloop.com

Data plus AI-powered outreach in one 450M+-professional database (vendor claim) Belgian legal entity, USD-denominated pricing

Overloop, legally Overloop SRL and VAT-registered in Brussels, started in 2015 as a Chrome extension called Prospect.io before Brussels-based Sortlist acquired and rebranded it in 2022, giving it one of the longer operating histories among the EU-headquartered vendors on this list. Like Apollo.io, it combines a contact database with AI-powered outreach sequencing across email and LinkedIn in one subscription, one of only two vendors here structured that way.

Where it falls short

Overloop prices its Starter and Growth plans in US dollars rather than euros despite being a Belgian company, which is unusual among the EU-headquartered vendors on this list and means the published figure moves with the exchange rate for a European buyer budgeting in euros. Each tier also carries a hard monthly credit cap, 250 on Starter and 500 on Growth, that limits real prospecting volume.

Wrong for

A European buyer who specifically wants euro-denominated pricing, since Overloop's published plans are listed in US dollars, or a team whose prospecting volume will regularly exceed its tier's monthly credit cap.

Pricing: Starter $69/user/month (250 credits); Growth $99/user/month (500 credits); Enterprise custom-priced. A 7-day free trial is available. (free trial)

#7 SalesViewer

German visitor identification only, no outbound database · Germany · salesviewer.com

Visitor identification only, no contact database GDPR and CCPA certified 2018-2019 (vendor stated) No long-term contract required

SalesViewer is a materially different product from most of this list: it identifies which companies are anonymously visiting a customer's own website, and that is the entire product, with no searchable outbound contact database behind it at all, unlike Leadfeeder or Leadinfo, which pair visitor identification with a broader linked database. Founded in 2010 with a Bochum, Germany office since 2012, it states GDPR and CCPA certification dated 2018 and 2019 on its own company history page and requires no long-term contract.

Where it falls short

Because there is no searchable contact database behind it, SalesViewer cannot be used for outbound list-building at all, only for reacting to a company's own existing website traffic, which is a narrower job than every other vendor on this list except the other two pure visitor-identification tools.

Wrong for

Any team that needs to build a new outbound prospecting list from scratch, since SalesViewer only ever surfaces companies already visiting a website a customer already owns, and does not sell access to a searchable contact database at all.

Pricing: Prices are excl. VAT: Pro 50 at €99/month (50 company detections a month, 1 website); Premium 250 at €339/month (250 detections, 5 websites); Individual 750 at €629/month (750 detections, unlimited websites). A 20% discount applies on annual billing, a 14-day free trial is available, and there is no long-term contract. (free trial)

#8 ZoomInfo

The largest B2B contact database, quote-only · United States · zoominfo.com

Largest database in category Quote-only pricing US-incorporated

ZoomInfo's scale is the reason it leads this ranking: it is the largest, most established contact and company database among the vendors here, and that depth is what a buyer is actually paying for once a deal is quoted. Delaware-registered as ZoomInfo Technologies LLC and headquartered in Vancouver, Washington per its own privacy policy, it is squarely a US company for any buyer weighing jurisdiction.

Where it falls short

No pricing appears on the vendor's own site at any tier, so a buyer cannot size a likely deal without first going through a sales conversation, unlike several smaller vendors further down this list that publish real numbers.

Wrong for

A small team that wants to self-serve a plan and see a price before talking to anyone, or a buyer for whom US jurisdiction over contact records is a hard blocker.

Pricing: Pricing is not published on the vendor's site; every plan is quoted after a sales call. (none stated)

#9 Apollo.io

Database plus built-in outreach, backed by Sequoia and YC · United States · apollo.io

Data plus outreach in one platform 40,000+ paying customers (vendor claim) Backed by Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator

Apollo.io's real differentiator on this list is combining a contact database with built-in sales engagement, email and call sequences, in one platform, which is a structural advantage over a pure-database competitor for a team that would otherwise buy two separate tools. Co-founded in 2015 by CEO Tim Zheng and CTO Ray Li with backing from Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator, the company states more than 40,000 paying customers.

Where it falls short

Apollo.io's headquarters is publicly reported as San Francisco, but that address could not be independently confirmed on the vendor's own published pages within this review, so it is listed here on a best-effort basis rather than as a vendor-confirmed fact; a buyer with a strict verification requirement should confirm the registered address directly with the vendor.

Wrong for

A buyer who wants a pure specialist database without a bundled outreach product they may not use, or one who needs the vendor's registered corporate address independently confirmed before signing.

Pricing: The vendor states a free Starter plan exists; paid-tier pricing is published on the vendor's own site but was not independently confirmed within this review's research budget. (free plan)

Visit Apollo.io →

#10 Cognism

UK-headquartered data company focused on European growth · United Kingdom · cognism.com

UK-headquartered Focused on European growth Quote-only pricing

Cognism is the one clearly major vendor on this list that is not US-incorporated: its stated headquarters is The Shard in London, with further offices in Boston, Cologne, Paris, Skopje and Zadar, and it explicitly frames itself as built for growth in Europe rather than as a US company with a European sales office bolted on. For a buyer for whom UK rather than US jurisdiction is the meaningful distinction, that is a real, structural difference from ZoomInfo, Apollo.io or Clearbit.

Where it falls short

Like ZoomInfo, Cognism publishes no pricing at all, so a buyer cannot compare a likely cost against the EU-headquartered alternatives further down this list without first going through a sales call. The UK is not the EU post-Brexit, which matters to a buyer whose requirement is specifically EU rather than European incorporation.

Wrong for

A buyer with a strict EU-only (not merely European) jurisdiction requirement, since Cognism's registered headquarters sits in the UK, or a buyer that wants published self-serve pricing rather than a sales conversation.

Pricing: Pricing is not published on the vendor's site; plans are quoted after a sales call. (none stated)

#11 Clearbit

Enrichment and intent signals, now Clearbit by HubSpot · United States · clearbit.com

Now part of HubSpot Real-time lead scoring and routing IP-based buying-intent signals

Clearbit's own homepage now announces "Clearbit has joined HubSpot," and the product operates as Clearbit by HubSpot rather than as an independent company, which makes HubSpot's Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters the relevant publisher of record. Its core job, enriching a lead or account record and layering on real-time scoring, routing and IP-based buying-intent signals, is a narrower and more integration-specific use case than the full prospecting databases above it on this list.

Where it falls short

As an acquired product folded into HubSpot, Clearbit's independent pricing and roadmap are no longer separable from HubSpot's own; a buyer not already on or planning to adopt HubSpot gets less of a standalone value proposition than from a dedicated database vendor.

Wrong for

A team that wants a standalone prospecting database independent of any CRM ecosystem, since Clearbit's value is now most concentrated for teams already inside HubSpot.

Pricing: Not stated by the vendor within the facts verified for this review; the product is sold as part of the HubSpot ecosystem. (not stated)

What the data says about this market

Of the eleven vendors ranked here, three, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io and Clearbit (now Clearbit by HubSpot), are US-incorporated and represent the market's largest, most established names; Cognism is the sole UK-headquartered entry, run from The Shard in London with a stated focus on "growth in Europe" despite its own base sitting outside the EU post-Brexit. Five vendors are genuinely EU-headquartered: Leadfeeder (Germany), Leadinfo (Netherlands), Vainu (Finland), Overloop (Belgium) and SalesViewer (Germany), a cluster large enough that a buyer with a hard EU-jurisdiction requirement has real, functioning alternatives to the US majors rather than a single token option. Lusha and Kaspr don't sort cleanly into either camp: Lusha runs a dual US/Israel controller structure, and Kaspr, though built and staffed in Paris, has been part of the UK-incorporated Cognism Group since 2022, which makes its ultimate ownership British even as its product and team remain French.

Product shape correlates more with company size than with jurisdiction. The three website-visitor-identification tools, Leadfeeder, Leadinfo and SalesViewer, are also the three vendors with the most transparent published pricing on this list, running from free (Leadfeeder Lite) to a few hundred euros a month, because that product is sold as a lighter-weight add-on to an existing marketing stack rather than as a primary data platform. The searchable outbound databases split instead by disclosure: Lusha and Kaspr publish enough about their data volume to be compared directly, while ZoomInfo and Cognism, two of the largest and most established names on this list, publish no pricing at all and route every deal through a sales call. Vainu's contract structure, an annual commitment starting at €3,500 plus a separate onboarding fee with a 60-day cancellation notice, is closer to how enterprise software was sold a decade ago than to how most of the rest of this list prices itself.

The line between "sales intelligence" and "sales engagement" is thinning at the edges of this list rather than in the middle of it. Apollo.io and Overloop are the two vendors here that fold a contact database directly into built-in outreach sequencing, a shape that used to sit in a separate software category entirely; both are also the only two vendors on this list that pair a database with a genuine no-quote entry point, Apollo's free Starter plan and Overloop's 7-day trial, rather than the quote-only floor that ZoomInfo and Cognism require before a buyer sees a number. Whether that combination is worth paying for over a standalone database plus a separate engagement tool depends entirely on whether a buyer already owns one of those two pieces.

How to choose

  1. Sort vendors into a shape before comparing prices

Decide first whether the job is building an outbound prospecting list, catching inbound website visitors, or both at once, because this list contains three different products under one label. A searchable database (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Cognism, Kaspr, Vainu) is the right starting point for cold outbound; a visitor-identification tool (Leadfeeder, Leadinfo, SalesViewer) only ever surfaces companies already on a customer's own site and finds nobody new outside that traffic; and a combined data-plus-outreach subscription (Apollo.io, Overloop) replaces two separate tools with one, at the cost of doing neither job as deeply as a specialist. Comparing a SalesViewer quote against a ZoomInfo quote without sorting them first is comparing the wrong two products.

  2. Price the credit or detection cap, not the headline number

The monthly figure on a pricing page rarely survives contact with real usage volume in this category. Leadinfo's published price roughly doubles once identified-company volume crosses into its higher usage band; Overloop's per-seat price comes with a hard monthly credit ceiling, 250 on Starter and 500 on Growth, that a busy seat will hit before the month ends; and Vainu's annual contract adds a separate one-time onboarding fee on top of the headline yearly figure. Ask what happens the month a seat runs out of credits or a website's visitor volume grows, not just what the plan costs on day one.

  3. Treat jurisdiction as a real requirement, not a footnote

A buyer with a genuine EU-only data-residency requirement has five functioning EU-headquartered alternatives on this list, Leadfeeder, Leadinfo, Vainu, Overloop and SalesViewer, rather than needing to accept a US or UK vendor by default. But ownership underneath the legal entity matters too: Leadfeeder's German entity has taken US private-equity backing, and Kaspr's Paris-based product now sits inside the UK-incorporated Cognism Group, so "headquartered in the EU" and "answerable only to EU jurisdiction" are not always the same fact. Ask a shortlisted vendor directly where its ultimate parent is incorporated, not just where its office is.

Questions and answers

What is the best sales intelligence software in 2026?

ZoomInfo leads this ranking as the largest, most established B2B contact and company database in the category, though it publishes no pricing and routes every deal through a sales call. Apollo.io is the better pick for a team that wants prospecting data and built-in outreach sequencing in one subscription with a genuine free Starter plan, and Cognism suits a team specifically prioritizing growth in Europe from a UK-headquartered vendor with offices across several EU countries.

Which of these vendors are genuinely EU-headquartered?

Five: Leadfeeder (legal entity Dealfront Group GmbH, Karlsruhe, Germany), Leadinfo (Rotterdam area, Netherlands), Vainu (Helsinki, Finland), Overloop (Brussels, Belgium) and SalesViewer (Bochum, Germany). Cognism is UK-headquartered, not EU; ZoomInfo, Apollo.io and Clearbit are US-incorporated; Lusha runs a dual US/Israel structure; and Kaspr, though staffed out of Paris, is owned by the UK-incorporated Cognism Group.

Why does EU headquarters matter for a buyer worried about GDPR?

A vendor incorporated inside the EU is directly answerable to an EU data protection authority and EU courts in a way a US-incorporated vendor is not, regardless of what data-residency options that US vendor offers, because US legal process can still reach a US company's data on a valid order. That doesn't make a US vendor unusable under GDPR, since GDPR itself allows processing by non-EU vendors under the right safeguards, but it is a materially different legal position than working with a vendor whose parent entity sits inside the EU to begin with.

Is Kaspr owned by Cognism?

Yes. Kaspr's own materials state that it is part of the Cognism Group, which it joined in 2022, and the two are now sold as a combined offering under the Cognism umbrella. Kaspr's product and team remain built and run out of Paris, but its ultimate corporate parent is Cognism Ltd., the UK-incorporated company headquartered in London that also appears separately, and higher, in this ranking.

What's the difference between a contact database, a visitor-identification tool and a combined data-plus-outreach platform?

A contact database, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Cognism, Kaspr and Vainu on this list, is searched and filtered to build an outbound prospecting list from scratch. A visitor-identification tool, Leadfeeder, Leadinfo and SalesViewer, instead matches a company's own website visitors to a company record, surfacing inbound interest rather than new outbound names; SalesViewer does only this, with no separate searchable database behind it. A combined platform, Apollo.io and Overloop, bundles a contact database together with built-in email or LinkedIn outreach sequencing, so finding and reaching a contact happens inside one subscription.

Is there a free sales intelligence tool on this list?

Leadfeeder's Lite plan is free forever, with unlimited users and up to 100 identified companies a month and seven days of visitor history, though it is a website-visitor-identification tool rather than a searchable outbound database. Apollo.io offers a free Starter plan as part of its combined data-and-engagement product, and Overloop and Leadinfo both offer time-limited free trials rather than a permanent free tier.

Which of these tools only covers the Nordic region?

Vainu. Its company and contact database is built specifically around Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, which makes it a strong specialist choice for a team selling primarily into the Nordics and a poor fit for a team prospecting outside that region, where its coverage is not the product's focus.

Why is Overloop priced in US dollars despite being a Belgian company?

Overloop is legally Overloop SRL, registered in Brussels, but its published Starter and Growth plans are listed in US dollars per user per month rather than euros, which is unusual among the EU-headquartered vendors on this list and worth flagging to a European buyer budgeting in euros, since the dollar figure will move with the exchange rate in a way a euro-denominated competitor's price will not.

Is there a fee to be listed in this ranking?

Visibility in this ranking can be paid for. Payment can move a vendor's position within the shortlist; it never adds a vendor that doesn't belong here and never changes a word of a review. The largest vendors in sales intelligence software cannot hold places 1 to 3. Full details are on our placement disclosure and editorial process pages.

How often is this ranking updated?

Whenever a fact underneath it changes: a pricing update, an acquisition, a certification gained or lost, or a product that stops being maintained. The published and last-reviewed dates at the top of this guide are real, and a review means someone checked the vendor's current documentation, not that a date was moved forward without a re-check.

Does Lusha operate under EU or US jurisdiction?

Both, in a structure most vendors on this list don't share. Lusha's own privacy policy names Lusha Systems Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Boston, as its primary data controller, and Lusha Systems Ltd., an Israeli company, as a joint controller. A buyer evaluating Lusha specifically for jurisdiction reasons should read that dual-controller structure directly rather than assume it sits in one bucket or the other.

Which of these tools combine prospecting data with outreach sequencing?

Apollo.io and Overloop are the two vendors on this list that bundle a contact database directly with built-in email or LinkedIn sequencing, so a team can find and message a contact inside one subscription. Every other vendor here, ZoomInfo, Cognism, Lusha, Clearbit, Kaspr, Leadfeeder, Leadinfo, Vainu and SalesViewer, sells data or visitor identification only, and a team using one of them for outreach will need a separate sequencing tool alongside it.
