Best Customer Feedback Software in 2026

The short answer

  1. #1 Canny: Feedback boards plus AI capture from support and sales calls. Best for: SaaS product teams.
  2. #2 Featurebase: Feedback boards inside a helpdesk and AI support suite. Best for: Small teams wanting support and feedback.
  3. #3 Frill: Ideas board, roadmap and announcements with flat monthly plans. Best for: Startups wanting predictable cost.

Visibility in this ranking can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review. The largest vendors in customer feedback software cannot hold places 1 to 3. Places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them; the established names follow from place 4 in their ranked order. How it works: placement disclosure · editorial process.

The 12 tools, reviewed

#1 Canny

Feedback boards plus AI capture from support and sales calls · United States · canny.io

Feedback boards AI capture Product teams

Canny began in 2017 as a voting board and still does that job cleanly: customers post a request, others vote, and a status change notifies everyone who cared.

  • Pricing: Per tracked user / month. Free plan with 25 tracked users, Pro from $79 a month billed yearly (100+ tracked users), Business is quoted; yearly billing saves 20%. Free plan: free plan.
  • Best for: SaaS product teams
  • Strengths: Feedback portal; Autopilot AI capture; Deduplication.

Where it falls short

Pricing is metered by tracked users, meaning anyone who posts, votes or comments, or whom Autopilot attributes feedback to, so a popular public board can push you up a tier without any change in team size.

Wrong for

A support team that wants surveys or satisfaction scores should look at Survicate.

#2 Featurebase

Feedback boards inside a helpdesk and AI support suite · Estonia · featurebase.app

EU company Bundled suite Free plan

Featurebase sells feedback and support as one product, and its pricing page states that each plan includes Feedback. For a small company that would otherwise pay one vendor for a voting board and another for a shared inbox, that is a sensible package: a customer can complain in chat, and the same person can see the open requests on the roadmap.

  • Pricing: Per seat / month. Free plan with 1 seat. Free plan: free plan.
  • Best for: Small teams wanting support and feedback
  • Strengths: Feedback boards; Roadmaps; Changelog.

Where it falls short

The pricing page leads with the helpdesk view, so we could not confirm a feedback-only price; check what you are billed for if you only need the board.

Wrong for

A product team that wants deep prioritization scoring or revenue-weighted insight should look at Productboard.

#3 Frill

Ideas board, roadmap and announcements with flat monthly plans · Australia · frill.co

Flat pricing Unlimited users Surveys add-on

Frill answers the question most startups ask first, which is what the bill will be next year. Teammates and tracked users are unlimited on all four plans, so the number of people who vote does not move the price, and only the Startup plan caps active ideas at 50.

  • Pricing: Flat monthly. Startup $25, Business $49, Growth $149 and Enterprise $349 a month; 14-day free trial, no card; privacy, surveys and white labeling are paid add-ons. Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: Startups wanting predictable cost
  • Strengths: Ideas board; Roadmap; Announcements.

Where it falls short

The roadmap view lists a timeline and ETA features as coming soon on every plan.

Wrong for

A company that needs CRM-linked revenue weighting or call transcripts as a source should look at Canny or UserVoice.

Visit Frill →

#4 Survicate

Website, in-app and email surveys with AI analysis · Poland · survicate.com

Surveys EU company AI analysis

Survicate asks customers questions where they already are: on a site, inside an app, by email or through a link. Targeting by user attributes and events keeps a short NPS or CSAT question from reaching people who have just contacted support, and the Research Hub gathers open-text answers for AI summaries.

  • Pricing: Usage-based. Growth from $114 a month billed annually for 250 survey responses and 1,000 data points. Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: Teams that want feedback by survey
  • Strengths: Multichannel surveys; Research Hub; AI agent and MCP.

Where it falls short

Plans are capped by survey responses and data points a month, so a busy site can burn through the Growth allowance.

Wrong for

A team whose customers want to vote on a public roadmap should look at Canny or Frill.

#5 Productboard

Product management workspace with feedback insights and AI · United States · productboard.com

Major vendor Prioritization AI agent

Productboard treats feedback as an input to prioritization instead of an end in itself. Notes from support tickets, sales calls and a portal are linked to features, so a product manager can see which customers asked and which segments they belong to. Business includes 25 contributors, two product portals, unlimited feedback notes, a CRM CSV importer and an export of feature requesters.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Business and Enterprise are both sold through a demo or sales contact, with AI credits per maker; no list price is published. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Product orgs prioritizing at scale
  • Strengths: Unlimited feedback notes; Product portals; Feedback summaries.

Where it falls short

No price is published, and AI work is metered in credits: Business includes 500 per maker each month, Enterprise 1,500 base plus 800 per extra maker. Salesforce integration is Enterprise only.

Wrong for

A startup that needs a feedback board by Friday should look at Canny or Frill.

#6 Qualtrics

Enterprise experience management across every feedback channel · United States · qualtrics.com

Major vendor Enterprise VoC Delighted successor

Qualtrics is what a company chooses when feedback has to cover a call center, a website, SMS, reviews and social mentions in one program. Its customer feedback page says the Delighted product is no longer available and points those users to Qualtrics, which changes the calculation for small teams that relied on the older tool.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Pricing is not published on the pages we could read; contract is by quote and a demo request. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Enterprises running a VoC program
  • Strengths: Digital intercepts; Contact center analytics; Social listening.

Where it falls short

The scale is the downside. We could not find a price on the pages we read, and the sales-led model, role-based dashboards and program design suit organizations with an experience team.

Wrong for

A company with one product manager and no experience team should look at Canny or Featurebase.

#7 UserVoice

Enterprise feedback portal and customer intelligence platform · United States · uservoice.com

Portal No per-seat fee Enterprise

UserVoice has run feedback programs for about twenty years, by its own account, and the product reflects that: a portal, taxonomy, segmentation and links from feedback back to the accounts and revenue behind it.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Priced by feedback volume, tools and connected integrations, never by seat; no list price is published and plans are quoted. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Larger teams spanning sales, support and product
  • Strengths: Feedback portal; AI theme detection; Customer segmentation.

Where it falls short

Its pricing page quotes onboarding at four to six weeks, with one to two weeks of technical setup, which is long next to tools that run the same afternoon.

Wrong for

A startup that wants to launch a board this week should look at Frill or Canny.

Visit UserVoice →

#8 Usersnap

In-product feedback, surveys and an opportunity board · Austria · usersnap.com

EU company Unlimited seats Opportunity board

Usersnap is the Austrian entry, run by Usersnap GmbH in Linz. Feedback comes from on-site collection, surveys and channel ingest from tools such as Gong, Zoom and ServiceNow, and everything feeds an opportunity board where ideas are scored. From Growth up, any number of people can sit in the dashboard, so a support lead and a designer need no extra license.

  • Pricing: Flat monthly. Starter EUR 49 a month for 2 seats and 2 projects, Growth EUR 129 and Professional EUR 219 with unlimited seats. Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: Product teams wanting evidence per decision
  • Strengths: Feedback widgets; Surveys; Announcements and changelog.

Where it falls short

Each plan caps projects (2, 10, 20), where a project holds feedback collection, surveys and channel ingest, so a company with several products or brands moves up a tier early.

Wrong for

A team that wants a public voting board for customers should look at Canny or Frill.

Visit Usersnap →

#9 Refiner

In-app microsurveys for NPS, CSAT and product-market fit · France · refiner.io

EU company Microsurveys MAU pricing

Refiner does one thing with discipline: short surveys shown inside a product or on a website, aimed at users who match a segment, and routed into Slack or a CRM when an answer matters. The model removes the usual meter, since survey responses and team members are unlimited and the price follows monthly active users.

  • Pricing: Per monthly active user. Priced by monthly active users with unlimited survey responses and team members; free trial available; the price calculator renders client-side, so no figures here. Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: SaaS teams running recurring NPS
  • Strengths: In-app surveys; Mobile surveys; Email and link surveys.

Where it falls short

There is no public voting board or roadmap, so it will not replace a feature-request portal. Pricing grows with active users, which is awkward for a free consumer app with a large base and few paying accounts.

Wrong for

A team whose customers expect to vote on features should look at Canny.

Visit Refiner →

#10 Qualaroo

On-site and in-app nudge surveys with a free tier · United States · qualaroo.com

Free plan Nudge surveys Low cost

Qualaroo is the cheapest route here to asking a visitor a question at the right moment. Nudges can appear on a page, inside an app or by email, and the listed plans include unlimited surveys, domains and administrators. The free plan allows 50 responses with 10,000 pageviews, and paid tiers differ by email sends and pageviews, with unlimited responses from Essentials.

  • Pricing: Flat monthly tiers. Free plan up to 50 responses. Free plan: free plan.
  • Best for: Small sites wanting cheap surveys
  • Strengths: Nudge surveys; NPS, CSAT and CES; AI sentiment analysis.

Where it falls short

It is a survey tool, not a feedback system: no public board, no roadmap and no linking of requests to accounts beyond integrations. Plans are capped by email sends and pageviews.

Wrong for

A product team that needs a request portal, prioritization and a changelog should look at Canny or Productboard.

Visit Qualaroo →

#11 Userpilot

Product adoption suite with in-app surveys and NPS · United States · userpilot.com

Adoption suite MAU pricing In-app surveys

Userpilot is on this list for teams that already want in-app guidance, product analytics and replay, and want feedback captured in the same place.

  • Pricing: Per monthly active user. Starter $299 a month for up to 2,000 monthly active users, Growth from $849 a month, Enterprise by quote; priced by active users. Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: SaaS teams wanting adoption and feedback together
  • Strengths: In-app surveys; NPS surveys; Product analytics.

Where it falls short

Feedback is one feature of a wider adoption product, and the price starts at $299 a month, well above the free boards in this list. There is no public voting portal or roadmap for customers.

Wrong for

A team that wants only a feedback board should look at Frill or Canny.

Visit Userpilot →

#12 Sprig

Enterprise survey and research platform with AI agents · United States · sprig.com

Research platform AI agents Enterprise

Sprig's pricing page now describes an enterprise survey platform for organizations running research across several teams, with agents for designing, fielding, analyzing and synthesizing studies, and a panel of more than 300,000 verified participants. Studies can be embedded in web and mobile apps or sent by email.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Pricing scales with response volume, activated capabilities and deployment environments; the page lists no figures and sends buyers to a demo. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Research teams running studies at scale
  • Strengths: Design, Field and Synthesize agents; Web and mobile surveys; Email deployment.

Where it falls short

There is no published price and no free plan or trial on the pages we read, and the offer is oriented to research programs, not a feedback loop with customers. It has no public board, roadmap or changelog.

Wrong for

A startup looking for quick, cheap in-app surveys should look at Refiner or Qualaroo.

What this category is

Customer feedback software collects, organizes and acts on what customers say about a product or service.

How we ranked these

Five tests, applied to every product. The order is not the tests alone: places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them, and the established names follow from place 4 in their ranked order.

  • Setup: From a script tag to a board people use.
  • The real price: What the meter counts.
  • Getting your data out: Exports, imports and the voters.
  • Independence from the vendor: Who runs it, who owns the voters.
  • Who it is for: Board, survey or intelligence layer.

What the data says about this market

The category is crowded at the small end and thin at the top. Of the twelve tools ranked here, seven are based in the United States, four in Europe (Estonia, Poland, Austria and France) and one in Australia. Three have a permanent free plan, five offer a trial, and four have no free entry point at all, which are Productboard, Qualtrics, UserVoice and Sprig. Seven show a plan price we could read in the page source, four sell by quote only, and Refiner calculates its price client-side.

More in our report The Global Shift to ICT Services, on market data and in all industry reports.

How to choose

  1. List the questions you need answered. Write down the three decisions the tool should support.
  2. Price the meter at your busiest month. Take your highest realistic month and run it through each vendor's meter.
  3. Test the exit before you sign. During the trial, export a sample and import a few items back. Confirm that comments, votes and user IDs survive.

Questions and answers

What is the best customer feedback software in 2026?

Canny ranks first of 12, best for saaS product teams. Featurebase is second (small teams wanting support and feedback) and Frill third (startups wanting predictable cost). Places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands, wherever the category has them.

What is the difference between customer feedback and product feedback software?

Product feedback software collects feature requests and bug reports, lets users vote, and links ideas to a roadmap, as Canny, Frill and Featurebase do.

Do customers need an account to submit feedback on a public board?

It depends on the setup. Most boards let you require sign-in through single sign-on or a secure token passed from your app, and some allow guest or anonymous submissions.

How is customer feedback software priced?

Four models exist. Tracked-user pricing (Canny) charges for people who post or vote. Seat pricing (Featurebase) charges for your team. Usage pricing meters survey responses (Survicate) or monthly active users (Userpilot, Refiner).

Is there free customer feedback software?

Yes, with limits. Canny has a free plan for 25 tracked users, Featurebase has a free plan with one seat, and Qualaroo has a free plan for 50 responses. Frill, Survicate, Usersnap, Refiner and Userpilot offer trials.

What happened to Delighted?

Qualtrics states on the Delighted page that the product is no longer available, and invites its users to move to Qualtrics customer feedback software.

Can I get my feedback data out of these tools?

Usually, though the route varies.

How do I move from one feedback board to another?

Look for an importer. Frill lists a Canny import and bulk CSV import, UserVoice offers bulk import by CSV or API with help from its technical team, and Productboard has a CRM CSV importer.

Should feedback software connect to Jira, Linear or our CRM?

Connecting to the tracker where engineers work saves double entry: Canny syncs with Jira, Linear, GitHub, Asana, ClickUp and Azure DevOps, and Usersnap lists Jira, Linear and Azure DevOps.

Where is customer feedback data stored, and does it matter for GDPR?

Hosting differs. Refiner says its customer data sits in the AWS Ireland region, and Featurebase, Survicate and Usersnap are run by companies in Estonia, Poland and Austria. Frill and Userpilot list EU hosting among higher-plan features.

When is an enterprise platform like Qualtrics or UserVoice worth it?

When feedback arrives through many channels, several teams need the same data, or security review demands SSO, audit logs and a negotiated contract. Qualtrics covers calls, chat, reviews and surveys; UserVoice prices by volume with no per-seat charge.
