Best Revenue Intelligence Software in 2026

The short answer

  1. #1 Avoma: Meeting assistant with conversation and revenue modules. Best for: Teams of 5 to 100 sellers.
  2. #2 Jiminny: Call recording and coaching with CRM filling. Best for: UK and EU sales teams.
  3. #3 Backstory (formerly People.ai): Activity capture and deal answers for revenue teams. Best for: Companies with many occasional viewers.

Visibility in this ranking can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review. The largest vendors in revenue intelligence software cannot hold places 1 to 3. Places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them; the established names follow from place 4 in their ranked order. How it works: placement disclosure · editorial process.

The 12 tools, reviewed

#1 Avoma

Meeting assistant with conversation and revenue modules · United States · avoma.com

Published prices Modular 14-day trial

Avoma earns first place by letting a buyer start cheap and add depth later. The base product records and summarizes meetings and writes notes to the CRM; call scoring, coaching and trackers come with the $29 Conversation Intelligence add-on, and deal risks, win-loss analysis and forecasting with the $29 Revenue Intelligence add-on.

  • Pricing: Per seat / month. Annual per-recorder-seat prices of $19 (Startup), $24 (Organization) and $39 (Enterprise, 10 seats minimum). Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: Teams of 5 to 100 sellers
  • Strengths: AI meeting notes; Call scoring; Sales coaching.

Where it falls short

Stacked up, a seat with both add-ons on the Organization plan comes to $82 a month on annual billing, close to what some quote-only vendors charge.

Wrong for

Revenue operations teams that run a weekly forecast call across several regions, with manager roll-ups and history of changed commits, should look at Gong, Salesloft with Clari or Aviso instead.

#2 Jiminny

Call recording and coaching with CRM filling · United Kingdom · jiminny.com

UK vendor No platform fee SOC 2 Type II

Jiminny splits seats by job: reps who record, managers who review, and listeners who only need transcripts. That keeps the bill closer to real use than one seat price for everyone, and the pricing page says outright that there is no platform fee, only a one-time setup fee.

  • Pricing: Per seat / month. Quote based on Recording, Insights and Listener seats across Capture, Scale and Grow plans. Free plan: free trial.
  • Best for: UK and EU sales teams
  • Strengths: Call recording; AI notetaker; AI CRM filling.

Where it falls short

No price is shown, and the minimum term is 12 months, so a trial that goes well still leads to a year-long commitment.

Wrong for

Companies whose main need is a defensible quarterly forecast, or who want a month-to-month contract with a price printed on the page, should shortlist Avoma or the forecasting-first vendors.

Visit Jiminny →

#3 Backstory (formerly People.ai)

Activity capture and deal answers for revenue teams · United States · backstory.ai

Usage pricing Viewers free Formerly People.ai

Backstory is the name People.ai now trades under, and the company states it is the same product on the same data infrastructure. Its pitch is capture without effort: it ingests the emails, calls and meetings of the people who talk to customers, so nobody logs activity by hand. The pricing model is the most distinctive in the category.

  • Pricing: Usage-based. Request-a-quote: you pay for people whose emails, calls and meetings are ingested and for the answers consumed. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Companies with many occasional viewers
  • Strengths: Automatic activity capture; Deal risk alerts; Forecast intelligence.

Where it falls short

Prices are not published, and the consumption allotment is sized up front, so a wrong guess is corrected only at renewal.

Wrong for

Teams that want call libraries, scorecards and coaching playlists as the main feature, or that need a self-serve trial and a price on the page, will find Jiminny or Avoma closer to the job.

#4 Gong

Conversation intelligence and revenue AI platform · United States · gong.io

Category leader Platform fee Gartner-listed

Gong set the pattern for the category and still covers the widest range of it: call and email capture, Forecast for roll-ups, Engage for outreach, Enable for coaching, and Gong Agents that draft follow-ups and edit pipeline fields.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Per-user licenses plus a platform fee based on the number of users supported. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Large sales organizations
  • Strengths: Call recording; Gong Forecast; Gong Engage.

Where it falls short

No figure is published anywhere, and the platform fee on top of per-user licenses means small teams pay a larger share for the same product.

Wrong for

Teams under about ten sellers, or buyers who need a published price and a monthly contract, should start with Avoma or Grain and move up only when forecasting becomes the bottleneck.

#5 Salesloft (with Clari)

Forecasting, conversations and cadences in one estate · United States · salesloft.com

Clari merged in Forecast roll-ups Enterprise

Clari, the forecasting specialist most often named beside Gong, now appears on salesloft.com: clari.com redirects there, and Salesloft's privacy policy lists Clari, Inc. as an affiliate. The result is a single vendor selling Clari Forecast, Inspect, Conversation Intelligence, Cadence, Deals and a Signals layer that routes activity into agents.

  • Pricing: Quote only. No public price list; the pricing path leads to a demo request, and quotes cover the product mix you choose. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: RevOps-led enterprise teams
  • Strengths: Clari Forecast; Conversation Intelligence; Cadence.

Where it falls short

Five product logins in the header suggest a merger still being stitched together, and anyone buying in 2026 should ask which products share data today and which only share a brand.

Wrong for

Companies with fewer than a few dozen sellers, a HubSpot-only stack or no revenue operations person will carry more platform than they use.

#6 Outreach

Sales engagement extended into forecasting and deal management · United States · outreach.ai

Seats plus credits Engagement base Seattle HQ

Outreach arrives at revenue intelligence from sales engagement, so its strength is where call insight meets sequences and tasks: reps get meeting prep, coaching cards, and deal health alerts in the tool they already use to prospect. Packaging is explicit.

  • Pricing: Per seat plus credits. Seat-based access plus consumption-based AI credits. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Teams already running Outreach sequences
  • Strengths: Conversation intelligence; Deal management; Pipeline management.

Where it falls short

Forecasting sits only in the Pro package, so a team buying the middle tier for forecasts will not get them.

Wrong for

Teams that do not run outbound sequences, or those who want call coaching and nothing else, pay for an engagement platform they do not use.

Visit Outreach →

#7 Aviso

AI forecasting and pipeline platform with agents · United States · aviso.com

Forecast specialist Contract buyout Agentic AI

Aviso concentrates on the forecast: customizable forecasting hierarchies, live opportunity scoring, consumption forecasting and deal risk sit at the top of its pricing page, with conversation and relationship intelligence behind them.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Custom proposal from a form; the vendor offers to buy out an existing vendor contract, free migration and white-glove onboarding. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Forecast-led enterprise teams
  • Strengths: Revenue forecasting; Pipeline inspection; Deal risk.

Where it falls short

The product page now leads with an AI workforce of avatars and more than 50 agents, which dilutes the forecasting story and raises questions about what is mature.

Wrong for

Small teams, and companies that want recorded-call coaching as the main benefit, will find Aviso heavy; Jiminny and Avoma start nearer to the rep.

Visit Aviso →

#8 Attention

Botless call capture with plain-language sales agents · United States · attention.com

Botless recording MCP server Agent builder

Attention captures meetings without a recorder joining the call, which removes the bot that buyers often notice, and wraps that capture in consent workflows, permissions and shareable snippets. Its agents are described in plain language: deal alerts to Slack, drafted follow-ups that a rep approves with one click, and scorecards written to other systems, with every action auditable.

  • Pricing: Quote only. No price list found; the site offers a Get Started form, and we could not confirm a trial or free tier. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Teams that dislike recorder bots
  • Strengths: Botless recording; AI scorecards; CRM auto-update.

Where it falls short

There is no public pricing page and no stated trial, so evaluation starts with a sales call. Most proof on the site is customer quotes and mock-ups, not measured outcomes.

Wrong for

Buyers who need a vendor with a long track record, published prices or an enterprise forecast process should choose Gong, Salesloft or Aviso.

#9 Revenue Grid

CRM data capture, inbox panel and pipeline risk · United States · revenuegrid.com

Salesforce focus Email capture Four packages

Revenue Grid starts from capture: it records every client interaction into a context layer and syncs it to the CRM, then adds an inbox panel, scheduling and sequences on top. Its site puts the Salesforce user base at more than 800,000 and shows a Series A of $20 million.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Four packages (Context Foundation, Motion, Kora AI, RelationshipOS) quoted on request; self-service setup is included, implementation and hosting options are extras. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Salesforce teams that live in email
  • Strengths: Context capture; CRM sync; Context panel.

Where it falls short

Revenue IQ and Relationship IQ are only in RelationshipOS, so the forecast-like features are the most expensive. The feature set leans toward individual seller productivity inside email, not call coaching or manager forecast reviews.

Wrong for

Teams that need recorded-call coaching, or whose CRM is not Salesforce, should look at Jiminny or Avoma.

#10 Revenue.io

Salesforce-native dialer with real-time coaching · United States · revenue.io

Salesforce-native Dialer Formerly ringDNA

Revenue.io, which says it was formerly ringDNA, is the one product here that begins with the phone. Activate is a dialer that works inside Salesforce with local numbers in more than 40 countries and live Moments cues during calls; Engage adds sequences and call analysis; Orchestrate adds Deal Health Scores, scorecards, pipeline pacing and a set of 140 reports.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Seat-based custom quote on a demo call across three packages, Activate, Engage and Orchestrate. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Salesforce teams of 15+ seats
  • Strengths: Salesforce dialer; Moments live coaching; Conversation intelligence.

Where it falls short

It is built for Salesforce, and the pricing page says so: no HubSpot or other CRM is the target.

Wrong for

Companies on HubSpot, Dynamics or Pipedrive, and Salesforce teams under 15 seats, should choose Avoma or Jiminny, which connect to a wider set of CRMs.

#11 Chorus by ZoomInfo

Conversation intelligence tied to ZoomInfo data · United States · zoominfo.com

ZoomInfo product Call analysis Connected data

Chorus by ZoomInfo still exists as a product line, sold through a demo request on zoominfo.com. It records and transcribes calls, meetings and emails, tracks deal momentum, mines conversations for competitor and market themes, and joins them to ZoomInfo contact and company data so a rep sees the relationship history in one place.

  • Pricing: Quote only. Demo request; no price on the product page, which lists Chorus beside other ZoomInfo products on the pricing page without figures. Free plan: none.
  • Best for: Existing ZoomInfo customers
  • Strengths: Call recording; Transcription; Deal intelligence.

Where it falls short

The product page speaks of Chorus as the fastest growing conversation intelligence product, language that dates it, and ZoomInfo's own navigation now places conversation intelligence among engagement solutions under the ZoomInfo brand.

Wrong for

Buyers with no ZoomInfo contract, or who need forecasting and agent features, should look at Gong, Aviso or Jiminny.

#12 Grain

AI meeting notetaker with sales workflows · United States · grain.com

Free plan Bots optional SOC 2 audited

Grain is the entry point of this ranking. It records meetings with or without a bot in the room, enriches transcripts, and passes them to Claude, ChatGPT or other AI tools so agents can act on them.

  • Pricing: Free plan with paid tiers. The site advertises free-forever use; paid plan prices could not be read from the fetched pricing page. Free plan: free plan.
  • Best for: Small teams starting with call capture
  • Strengths: Bot-less transcription; Meeting recording; AI summaries.

Where it falls short

Grain does not describe deal scoring, forecast roll-ups or manager dashboards in what we read, so it covers capture, not intelligence.

Wrong for

Teams that already know they need a forecast process, pipeline inspection or scorecards across dozens of reps should skip it and go to Avoma, Jiminny or a forecasting specialist.

What this category is

Revenue intelligence software captures sales activity from calls, video meetings, email and calendar, links it to CRM opportunities, and analyzes it to score deal health, flag pipeline risk, support coaching and produce forecasts. It sits between the CRM, which stores what reps entered, and the sales conversation, which holds what buyers said.

How we ranked these

Five tests, applied to every product. The order is not the tests alone: places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them, and the established names follow from place 4 in their ranked order.

  • Setup: Mailboxes, calendars and the CRM connection.
  • The real price: Seats, platform fees, credits and add-on modules.
  • Getting your data out: Recordings, transcripts and scores.
  • Independence from the vendor: Ownership, mergers and CRM ties.
  • Who it's for: Forecast-first or conversation-first buyers.

What the data says about this market

Names have changed faster than features this year. Clari, long the forecasting rival to Gong, now appears as an affiliate in Salesloft's privacy policy, clari.com redirects to salesloft.com, and the sign-in menu there lists Salesloft, Clari Forecast, Conversations, Drift and Groove as separate logins. People.ai states that it is now Backstory. Momentum's site announces it is now part of Salesforce, and boostup.ai redirects to terret.ai.

More in our report The Global Shift to ICT Services, on market data and in all industry reports.

How to choose

  1. Decide whether the first job is the forecast or the call. Write down which meeting hurts most today.
  2. Replay last quarter before you sign anything. Ask each finalist to process a real quarter, not a demo account.
  3. Negotiate the term, the exit and the merger clause. Price shapes differ, so compare them on a three-year view. Jiminny asks for a 12-month minimum and a one-time setup fee.

Questions and answers

What is the best revenue intelligence software in 2026?

Avoma ranks first of 12, best for teams of 5 to 100 sellers. Jiminny is second (uK and EU sales teams) and Backstory (formerly People.ai) third (companies with many occasional viewers). Places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands, wherever the category has them.

What is the difference between revenue intelligence and conversation intelligence?

Conversation intelligence analyzes what was said on calls and meetings: talk time, topics, objections and coaching moments. Revenue intelligence includes that, then links it to opportunities and adds pipeline inspection, deal risk and forecasting.

Do I need a separate forecasting tool if my CRM already has forecast reports?

Often not at first. CRM forecast reports show what reps entered. Revenue intelligence tools add activity evidence: whether the buyer has replied, whether a second stakeholder joined a call, whether a close date has slipped twice.

How much does revenue intelligence software cost?

Only Avoma publishes figures: $19, $24 and $39 per recorder seat a month on annual plans, with $29 add-ons for conversation and revenue modules, so a full Organization seat is $82.

Is Clari still sold separately from Salesloft?

On the vendors' own sites, no longer in the way it used to be. clari.com redirects to salesloft.com, Salesloft's privacy policy names Clari, Inc. as an affiliate, and the navigation lists Clari Forecast as a Salesloft platform product.

Is Backstory the same product as People.ai?

Yes. Backstory's own site answers the question directly: People.ai is now Backstory, with the same product and data infrastructure, repositioned around answers for revenue leaders.

Which tools can record calls without a bot joining the meeting?

Attention advertises botless recording with consent workflows, and Grain says it transcribes computer audio without a meeting bot and can also use a bot when you cannot attend. Others rely on a bot or on recording through a dialer.

Is it legal to record sales calls with these tools?

It depends on where the call participants are. Some jurisdictions need consent from one party, others from all, and the rules for AI analysis of voice data are tightening in the EU.

How many sellers do I need before it is worth buying?

There is no fixed number, but vendors signal their target.

Which tools work with HubSpot instead of Salesforce?

Avoma lists HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper, Zendesk Sell and Zoho CRM besides Salesforce, and Jiminny states native Salesforce and HubSpot integrations. Revenue.io is built for Salesforce teams, and Revenue Grid centers on Salesforce users.

Can AI agents update my CRM without a person checking?

Some can. Gong Agents automate pipeline edits and follow-ups, and Attention says its agents draft the next move and wait for approval.
