Enterprise Software Adoption in Portugal

Portugal falls below the EU27 average on CRM cloud adoption. 7.7% of enterprises with 10 or more employees paid for CRM software as a cloud service in 2023, 3.64 points under the bloc's 11.34% and fourteenth of the 16 countries compared here.

Growth has been slower than the bloc's: up 1.3 points from 6.4% in 2018, while the EU27 average gained 4.69. It was under the average in 2018 as well. Ranked on the 2018 figures it would have been ninth, so it has lost 5 places.
ERP is the stronger of the two measures: 11.42% of enterprises paid for ERP software as a cloud service in 2023, 3.72 points more than did so for CRM. That is 0.31 points below the EU27's 11.73% and eighth of 16, 6 places higher than on CRM. From 11.42% in 2021 that is a gain of 0 points, less than the EU27 average's 2.08. In the CRM ranking Portugal sits between Italy (7.84%) and France (7.42%).
