Teams look past PandaDoc when they only need signatures and not a quoting and proposal tool, when the free plan's five documents a month is too tight, or when usage credits for automated sends add a second meter. Most go to Dropbox Sign or SignNow for plain signing, to Zoho Sign or BoldSign for lower seat prices, and to Youtrust or Skribble for European signature levels.
Visibility in our rankings can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within

Questions and answers
Can I download all my signed documents from PandaDoc?
Yes, PandaDoc states that documents can be downloaded and exported at any time, including on account termination. Each document downloads as a PDF, and the completed file embeds a certificate of completion. For large archives the API has a recipe for downloading documents on completion.
What happens to my documents if I drop to the Free plan?
They stay in the account and completed documents can still be downloaded. Content library items become inaccessible, templates are limited to 5, and every user on the account moves to the Free plan. Accounts switched through support chat land on the annual Free plan with 60 documents a year.
How much notice does PandaDoc need to cancel?
We could not confirm it, because the master services agreement was blocked when we tried to read it. The help center says cancellation is done by the account owner under Settings, Billing and must follow the terms accepted at sign-up. Read your order form.
Does PandaDoc have a free plan?
Yes, Free eSign allows 5 documents a month with 2 recipients per document, 5 templates and unlimited users. Older annual Free accounts get 60 a year. It has no third-party integrations or advanced fields, and the 14-day trial is a separate offer.
Do API and Zapier sends cost extra on PandaDoc?
They draw on usage credits, one per document created through the API, Zapier, Make, Bulk Send, Forms or Automations. Starter receives 25 credits once, Business includes some with its trial, and more are sold as packs. Reading and tracking documents does not use a credit.
Does PandaDoc support qualified electronic signatures?
Yes, its compliance page lists eIDAS SES, AES and QES alongside ESIGN, UETA and HIPAA. The plan comparison marks QES with a dollar sign on Starter and Business, so it is not a plain feature of those tiers. Confirm the price with sales before comparing seat rates.
