PandaDoc vs Docusign eSignature
PandaDoc is a document builder that ends in a signature: quotes with live pricing tables, approvals, CRM links and payment at signing. Docusign is the signing specialist, with deeper routing, identity checks and connectors, sold with per-seat envelope allowances. Sales teams whose signed documents are mostly proposals favor PandaDoc; legal and procurement teams signing finished contracts favor Docusign.

Where they differ
Building the document, not just signing it
PandaDoc includes a drag-and-drop editor, a content library and pricing tables that calculate totals and discounts, so a rep assembles a proposal without leaving the tool. Docusign takes a finished document and sends it for signature. Our category notes warn that PandaDoc's editor is its own format, which makes redlining from Word awkward, but for commercial proposals it removes a step.
Edge: PandaDoc
Routing and signer verification
Docusign's page lists bulk sending, interactive form fields and payment collection on Business Pro, identity verification as a per-attempt add-on at EUR 2.35, and AES and QES support on Advanced plans. Our category notes add conditional routing and PowerForms. PandaDoc routes documents through approvals but is not described as a routing engine. For complex signing rules and identity checks, Docusign is deeper.
Edge: Docusign eSignature
CRM connection
PandaDoc pulls a deal from HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive into the document, according to our category notes, though those integrations sit on its Business tier and above. Docusign's page claims more than 1,000 integrations even on Personal, and our notes call its catalog the largest in the category. Breadth goes to Docusign, depth of deal-to-document flow to PandaDoc, so we call it even.
Edge: even
Price shape and allowances
Docusign's page, shown to a European visitor, lists Personal at EUR 9, Standard at EUR 23 and Business Pro at EUR 38 per user per month, with 100 envelopes per user per year on Standard and Business Pro and a 50-user ceiling before Advanced plans. PandaDoc's pricing page returned an error when we tried it, so we have no current figures to compare. Our category file describes per-seat published tiers and a free plan capped at five documents a month. Without PandaDoc numbers we cannot name a winner.
Edge: even
Familiarity to the counterparty
Counterparties know the Docusign brand and rarely question its email, which matters when a sales team sends contracts to strangers. PandaDoc gives the buyer a view-tracking link and lets them sign and pay in one sitting, which suits a proposal but is less familiar to a legal department receiving a master agreement. For first-contact confidence on a contract, Docusign wins.
Edge: Docusign eSignature
Tally: PandaDoc 1, Docusign eSignature 2, even 2.
When neither fits
Neither suits a small team signing a few hundred routine agreements a year with no quoting step. PandaDoc's builder and Docusign's depth both go unused. Dropbox Sign and signNow do that job for less.

Questions and answers
Does PandaDoc have a free plan?
Our category file lists a free plan capped at five documents a month, with CRM integrations and approval workflows reserved for the Business tier and above. PandaDoc's pricing page was unavailable when we tried it, so confirm the current limits on the vendor's site.
How many envelopes does Docusign include?
On the page we fetched, Standard and Business Pro include 100 envelopes per user per year, and Personal includes 5 per month. Teams above 50 users are quoted Advanced plans with customizable allowances.
Can PandaDoc replace Docusign?
For quotes and proposals, often yes, since it signs and collects payment in the same document. For finished contracts needing conditional routing, ID verification or qualified signatures, Docusign offers more. We did not compare their legal validity in any jurisdiction.
Does Docusign offer qualified electronic signatures in the EU?
The page we fetched lists EU qualified electronic signatures as an add-on at EUR 10 per recipient, and AES and QES support on Advanced plans. We did not check what PandaDoc offers here.
