Pipedrive alternatives: 13 compared

Teams look past Pipedrive when automations and e-signatures sit on higher plans, when add-ons lift the real price, or when they need a free tier or marketing alongside the CRM. Most go to HubSpot or Zoho CRM for breadth, or to Freshsales and Close for calling.

Short answer: The closest replacements for Pipedrive in our CRM software ranking are HubSpot, Zoho CRM and Freshsales. Choose HubSpot if you want a free start and marketing and service on the same records. All 13 alternatives below are ranked products from Best CRM Software in 2026, and each says where it differs from Pipedrive and when Pipedrive is still the better choice.

Visibility in our rankings can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review or of this page. How it works: placement disclosure · editorial process.

Why buyers look past Pipedrive

  1. Features move up the plan ladder

On the Pipedrive pricing page, email sync, automations and sequences start on Growth. Lead routing, custom scoring, contracts with e-signatures and required fields come on Premium, and a sandbox account and IP restrictions on Ultimate.

  2. Add-ons are priced on top

LeadBooster starts at 32.50 euros, Projects at 16, Campaigns at 13.33, Web Visitors at 41 and Smart Docs at 32.50, per the Dutch pricing page, excluding VAT. A team that wants these beside the CRM pays well above the seat price.

  3. Fee changes and no free tier

Pipedrive offers a 14-day trial but no free plan. Its terms allow it to change fees on one month's notice, effective at the next renewal date for existing terms. Teams that want a permanent free tier compare other CRMs.

When Pipedrive is still the right choice

Stay if your reps live in the pipeline view, you use Growth automations and email sync, and the add-ons you need are priced in. Pipedrive's strength is a narrow tool that sales teams adopt without training, so a broader CRM only pays if you need marketing, service or a free tier.

What to expect when you switch from Pipedrive

  1. Export every item type, then verify

An admin can export leads, deals, organizations, people, products, activities, notes and files as XLSX or CSV from the Export data tab. Check that your visibility group lets you see everything, because exports only include data visible to you. Files stay available for 28 days.

  2. Know the deletion clock

After termination Pipedrive permanently deletes the account and client data within 180 days, or within one month if you request it. Cancelling takes effect only at the next renewal date, so time the switch to the end of your billing period.

Questions and answers

Can I export my data from Pipedrive?

Yes, as XLSX or CSV. You can export leads, deals, organizations, people, products, activities, projects, notes and files. Only global admins and users with the right permission can run exports, and files remain available for 28 days.

Does Pipedrive have a free plan?

No. It offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, then paid plans from Lite to Ultimate. Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Attio and Capsule do offer permanent free tiers.

When does cancellation take effect?

At the next renewal date. The terms state that termination is not effective until then, so cancelling mid-term does not stop charges for the rest of the period.

What happens to my data after I leave Pipedrive?

It is permanently deleted within 180 days of the effective termination date, or within one month if you ask for earlier deletion. Export before that, since you cannot rely on the account afterwards.

Can Pipedrive raise my price?

Yes, with at least one month's notice, but for existing subscription terms a change does not take effect until the next renewal date. Check the notice for the plan you are on at each renewal.

Which alternative has one flat price?

Less Annoying CRM, at $15 per user a month with every feature included and a 30-day trial. It targets very small teams and has fewer automation options than Pipedrive Growth.
