Companies look past Copper when the contact caps on the lower plans bite, when part of the team does not live in Gmail, or when the Business plan is the only one with email series and custom reports. Small Google Workspace teams usually move to Salesflare, Less Annoying CRM or Capsule, and larger ones to Pipedrive, HubSpot or Zoho.
Visibility in our rankings can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within
the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review or of this page. The first three alternatives
go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them; the
established names follow in their ranked order. How it works:

What each alternative does differently

Questions and answers
Can I export my data from Copper?
Yes, admins can export People, Companies, Opportunities, Projects, Tasks and Leads as an .xlsx file sent by email. Filtered lists can also be exported, and Copper's help center sets a size limit per export. Activities need a one-time request to support.
How long do I have access after I cancel?
Copper's terms give 30 days after termination to retrieve content from the service. Export during the paid term anyway, since fees are non-refundable except in the cases the terms list.
How do I stop an automatic renewal?
Request cancellation under Settings, then Billing, in the app, or give written notice, before the last business day of the current term. Downgrades and seat reductions follow the same deadline and take effect at the next term.
Will the price change at renewal?
Renewal uses the same pricing and payment terms unless Copper gives notice of a change at least 60 days before the term ends. Read your renewal email early, since that notice is the only window to decide.
Does a Copper alternative work with Gmail?
Most do. Salesflare, Capsule, Attio, Folk, Keap and OnePageCRM state Gmail support on their own pages, and HubSpot's free CRM connects Gmail and G Suite. Dynamics 365 Sales is aimed at Microsoft 365, so check it first if you stay on Google.
Which tools are cheaper than Copper's Professional plan?
On annual billing Copper Professional is $59 per seat. Less Annoying CRM lists $15, OnePageCRM Professional €8.95, Freshsales Growth $9 and Salesflare Growth $29. The cheap tiers have limits of their own, so compare features, not only the headline.
