Teams look past Lever when a quote-only price and paid add-ons make costs hard to forecast, or when they want an ATS from a vendor outside the Employ portfolio. Most go to Ashby or Greenhouse for a like-for-like recruiting platform, to Workable or Breezy HR for published prices, and to Teamtailor or Tellent Recruitee for employer branding.
Visibility in our rankings can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within
the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review or of this page. How it works:
placement disclosure · editorial process.

Questions and answers
Does Lever publish its prices?
No, its pricing page asks you to request a customized quote and shows no figures. For published numbers, look at Workable ($299 a month for Standard in the smallest band), Breezy HR, Manatal and Ashby's Foundations plan.
Who owns Lever?
Employ Inc. owns Lever; its site lists Employ, JazzHR, Lever and Jobvite as its registered trademarks. If you want a different parent company, Jobvite is not an escape, while Ashby, Greenhouse and Workable are separate brands.
What costs extra on top of Lever's core platform?
Lever's pricing page lists Candidate Insights, AI Screening by VONQ and Onboarding as add-ons, each quoted separately. The core includes ATS, CRM, reporting, AI-powered screening signals and unlimited AI interview transcripts.
Can I export my data from Lever?
We could not confirm export formats on Lever's public pages, so ask Lever for a written list of what is exportable. Breezy HR advertises easy migration from other platforms, which is worth asking any new vendor about too.
Is there a free ATS to replace Lever?
Yes, for small teams: Breezy HR has a free Bootstrap plan with unlimited users but one active position, and Zoho Recruit has a free plan with one active job. Both are far below Lever's scope.
How long does it take to move off Lever?
We found no vendor figure for leaving Lever. Lever says most customers implement within weeks, and Workable offers a 15-day trial with its full Standard feature set, so test your import in a trial before committing.
