Cloud support for devices in your own tenant: helper and sharer both sign in with Entra accounts, so it cannot reach another organization. It is an Intune capability, offered through Plan 2, the Intune Suite and select Microsoft 365 bundles. Unenrolled devices need a setting that is off by default.
Switch from TeamViewer if your help desk supports only company-managed Windows or macOS devices and already runs Intune.
