Companies look past Dialpad when they want a different price shape, a system they host themselves, or a phone that is not sold next to a contact center and AI suite. Most compare Nextiva and RingCentral RingEX first, then Zoom Phone and Net2Phone. Teams that want their own server look at 3CX or Yeastar.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. The first three alternatives
go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them; the
established names follow in their ranked order. How it works:

Questions and answers
Can I keep my phone numbers when I leave Dialpad?
Probably, but it depends on the receiving carrier and is not guaranteed by Dialpad. Its terms say Dialpad will use reasonable efforts to facilitate port requests and are not liable for third-party delay. Start the port with the new vendor before you cancel.
How much notice does Dialpad need to stop a renewal?
Thirty days before the end of the current term, unless your order says otherwise. The online terms say the term renews automatically for successive terms of the same length, and that you must notify customer service of non-renewal in that window.
What happens to my data after I close a Dialpad account?
Dialpad says it will delete your data within 180 days of account termination. By default it keeps data for as long as the account is active, and you can set a retention policy that deletes data routinely. Export what you need before closing.
Can I cancel Dialpad in the middle of an annual term?
You can ask, but the terms make you responsible for all charges for the rest of the annual term, including any disconnection fee, with no refund of unused prepaid time. Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time, subject to the terms.
How much does Dialpad cost compared with the alternatives?
Dialpad lists Standard at $15 and Pro at $25 per user per month, with regional pricing possible. Nextiva Core is $15 on the annual view, RingCentral Core is $20 paid annually, and CallHippo Starter is $18 with a two-user minimum.
Is there a Dialpad alternative that I can host myself?
Yes, 3CX and Yeastar both describe self-hosted options. 3CX sells a flat annual licence by simultaneous calls, from $300 a year at 8 calls on Basic. Yeastar gives a 30-day trial with 10 extensions and sells through partners.
