People look past Calendly when the free plan's single event type and calendar is too tight, when per-seat pricing grows with every host, or when they want payments, team routing or self-hosting at a different price. Most go to Cal.com or SavvyCal for a like-for-like tool, or to a suite option such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Bookings.
Visibility in our rankings can be paid for. Payment moves a vendor's position within
the shortlist; it never adds a vendor, and it never changes a word of the review or of this page. How it works:

Questions and answers
Can I export my data from Calendly?
Yes, as a CSV from the analytics dashboard. Owners and admins on paid plans choose Export and then Event Data or Employee (user) Data. The export covers analytics, not your event type settings, so note those by hand.
What happens to my account if I cancel?
On cancellation of a paid plan you move to the Free plan at the end of the billing cycle, are not billed again and can still schedule meetings. Deleting the account instead removes it and its data permanently.
Do the people booking me need a Calendly seat?
No. Calendly states that invitees need no account or seat. Only people who connect calendars and host meetings or create links need one, which is why cost scales with the number of hosts.
Can I import my Calendly events into another tool?
Cal.com lists a one-click import of Calendly events among its free features. For the other alternatives we found no vendor page promising an import, so plan to recreate event types by hand.
Which alternatives have a free plan?
Cal.com for individuals, TidyCal, YouCanBookMe, Zoho Bookings for one user, Setmore for up to four users and SimplyBook.me up to 50 bookings. SavvyCal and Acuity offer trials only, and Google and Microsoft include scheduling in their suites.
Which alternative handles round-robin and lead routing?
Cal.com Teams lists round-robin and routing forms at $12 per user a month, TidyCal's Agency Lifetime lists round robin, and Chili Piper is built for inbound lead routing from $1,250 a month. Calendly lists both on Teams at $16.
